• December, 2022: Continental AG (Continental) announced that it will show-off modules and sensors created exclusively for electromobility. Continental will debut its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) which has been integrated into the "CV3" SoC (System on Chip) family with artificial intelligence (AI) from semiconductor startup Ambarella.
• November, 2022: Infineon Technologies AG announced the addition of the latest XENSIV TLE4971 family to its current sensor series for automotive applications. Infineon’s XENSIV TLE4971 devices offer precise magnetic current sensing based on proprietary temperature and stress compensation without the harmful effects of magnetic cores caused by hysteresis or saturation effects.
• March, 2022: CTS Corporation announced the acquisition of TEWA Temperature Sensors SP. Zo.o. and its subsidiaries. The company is a strong complement to CTS’s temperature sensing platform and will expand CTS’s presence in Europe.

• September 2022: Aptiv Plc signed a definitive agreement to acquire Intercable Automotive Solutions from Intercable Srl for EUR 595 million (USD 600.95 million). Aptiv Plc will own an 85% stake in Intercable Automotive Solutions post-acquisition. The acquisition will help Aptiv Plc to cement its position in the automotive busbars and interconnect solutions segments.
• September 2022: Motherson Sumi Ltd inaugurated its third manufacturing facility for automotive harness products in Serbia at Požarevac. The plant will manufacture products exclusively for Daimler Trucks SE and create 1000 jobs at the site.
• July 2022: Sumitomo Wiring Systems Ltd inaugurated a new manufacturing facility for automobile wiring harness products at Royal Group Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone in Cambodia.
• May 2022: Leoni AG signed an agreement to sell its automotive cables business to Bangkok-based Stark Corporation Public Company Limited for an undisclosed amount. The businesses generated USD 1.31 billion in revenues for Leoni AG in 2021.

• April 2022: TouchNetix announced fully integrated aXiom touchscreen chips that offer new 3D sensing capabilities by detecting air gestures allowing touchless functions in automotive, industrial, and consumer environments, among others. aXiom provides more than 100 times higher Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) than the traditional touchscreen controllers on the market.
• May 2022: Nippon Seiki Co., Ltd. announced on May 9 that it had started production of head-up displays (HUDs) at its new plant in Poland. The plant will first manufacture HUDs for the BMW Group. Vehicles are increasingly equipped with HUDs in Europe, the United States, and China, and the HUD market is rapidly expanding. Nippon Seiki established the new plant to deal with the increasing demand for HUDs from European automakers.
• May 2022: Faurecia announced introducing its newest perceptual image processing and immersive user experience solutions to the market during SID Display Week in California. Faurecia will also present MyDisplay, a platform solution that creates a personalized, enhanced visual experience. MyDisplay incorporates physiological algorithms that mimic how our eyes work to enhance the screen's 3D, color, and brightness in one seamless process.
• June 2021: Visteon Company announced a new business win with a North American OEM for its microZone™ display technology. The award is for a multi-display system that will be featured in multiple premium and performance vehicles expected to launch in 2024.

• October 2022- General Motors do Brasil announced the expansion of its plant in Joinville. With the new increased production capacity in Joinville, the company will export engines and attend the launch of the new Montana in 2023, which will get assembled at its factory in São Caetano do Sul.
• March 2022- Harbin DonganAuto Engine Co., Ltd. unveiled its investment plan for 2022 for building a production line for high-efficiency extended-range engines. It will involve the machining center, marking machines, tightening machines, gluing machines, and other equipment. Further, Harbin DonganAutomotive Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd will jointly maintain the project. It is the subsidiary of Harbin DonganAuto Engine, with a total investment worth CNY 72.33 million (USD 10.38 milllion).
• April 2021- MAN Energy Solutions started the AmmoniaMot project in association with the Research Institutes University of Munich, Neptun Ship Design, WTZ, and Woodward L’Orange. It is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi). The project aims to define the steps necessary to produce a dual-fuel, medium-speed engine capable of running on diesel fuel and ammonia.

•  November 2022: Continental AG announced the expansion of its automotive display plant at Timisoara in Romania. Continental AG will invest EUR 40 million (USD 41.2 million) to manufacture innovative User Experience solutions like displays at the plant. The investment will see the plant expand from 7000 square meters to 18000 square meters.
•  October 2022: Denso Corp. and NTT Com collaborated to build Security Operation Center for Vehicles (VSOC1) to respond to the threat of increasingly sophisticated cyber-attacks against vehicles.
• September 2022: Harman International, a Samsung Electronics company, launched Ready Care, which is a set of solutions focused on Cognitive Distraction, Stress-Free Routing, and Personalized Comfort technologies that can work together or independently to improve vehicle safety and reduce driver stress.
•  September 2022: Harman International, a Samsung Electronics company, acquired Israel-based CAARESYS, which develops vehicle passenger monitoring systems powered by contactless, low-emission radar. This acquisition is expected to make Harman International a leading player in Ipassenger In-Cabin Safety and Well-being market.
• February 2022: Bosch Mobility Solutions agreed to acquire Atlatec GmbH, one of the leading providers of high-resolution digital maps for driver assistance and autonomous driving. This acquisition will help Bosch to offer a complete ecosystem for automated driving, from sensors and actuators to software and maps to the manufacturers of autonomous vehicles. This acquisition is expected to enable Bosch to develop its SAE Level 4 automated driving capabilities.
•  November 2021, Lear Corporation announced that it had signed an agreement with one of the global automobile OEMs to supply its proprietary Global Navigation Satellite System– a high-accuracy vehicle positioning technology integrated into Lear’s 4G/5G telecommunications unit to that automobile OEM.

• May 2022: Continental unveiled an advanced combine-tire monitoring system for its CombineMaster and CombineMaster VF tires. The system is called ContiPressureCheck, designed to monitor tire pressure and temperature.
• February 2022: Continental AG announced its plan to strengthen the safety solution for India. India is the world's largest two-wheeler market, and Continental is committed to delivering affordable and intelligent safety technologies, including ADAS, TPMS, and others.
• February 2022: Fleeca India Private Limited, a Jaipur-based start-up, launched Fleeca Kawach, India's first AI-driven smart truck tire-pressure monitoring system. This TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) is a rim-mounted electronic system that monitors the wheel's rotational speed and other signals outside the tires.
• December 2021: Tire maker Sumitomo Rubber began proof-of-concept testing for a new type of tire pressure management solutions (TPMS) service. It allows remote monitoring of tire pressure and temperature. The concept is part of a joint project undertaken with Shin-Idemitsu, a group subsidiary of IDEX Auto Japan, partners at Tripod Works, and Sumitomo's tire sales subsidiary Dunlop.

• Oct 2022: French energy giant TotalEnergies and Valeo partnered to develop a novel method for thermal management systems for electric vehicle batteries by utilizing cooling fluid developed by TotalEnergies.
• Aug 2022: Mahle received a loan of EUR 300 million (USD 312 million) from the European Investment bank to develop technologies, including electric motors, battery components, power electronics, thermal management, and hydrogen fuel cell components for electric, hybrid, and fuel cell vehicles.
• Aug 2022: BorgWarner Inc. announced that it had won two contracts, one from a global automaker and one Chinese automaker, to provide its advanced High-Voltage Coolant Heater (HVCH) technology for their new electric vehicle models.
• Apr 2022: Denso Corp. won contracts to supply Toyota and Subaru’s all-new, all-electric bZ4X and SOLTERRA with key electrification components, including thermal management systems like heat pump systems and radiant heating systems. Toyota electric bZ4X will be launched in May 2022, while Subaru SOLTERRA was expected to debut in mid-2022.
• Apr 2022: Hanon Systems announced to relocate its manufacturing facility in Turkey from Gebze to Dilovasi.

• Oct 2022: Steelbird Hi-tech India Limited announced to open 1000 RiderZ Shoppe stores to sell a range of new helmets, rider jackets, and other riding gear, including suits, gloves, goggles, and pannier boxes across India and other overseas markets.
• Jul 2022: AGV launched its Tourmodular range of helmets made from carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass to deliver superior parts protection and lightness.
• May 2022: Vega Auto Accessories Pvt. Ltd announced to invest INR 219 crore (USD 2.62 million) for setting up a new plant to manufacture safety helmets and other bike accessories in the Belagavi district of Karnataka, India.
• Apr 2022: HJC Helmets signed a multi-year contract for supplying pit crew head protection gear to Oracle Red Bull Racing.

• In October 2022, Gentherm which is the innovative thermal management and pneumatic comfort announced that it has been selected by Cadillac in order to supply ClimateSense for the 2024 upcoming Cadillac CELESTIQ,
• In March 2022, Hanon Systems announced a plan to build a new plant in Hubei, China where the company will start producing HVAC modules and other products for electric vehicles (EV) in early 2023.
• In January 2022, Infineon Technologies introduced a complete system solution for motor control MOTIX motor control kit. The pre-assembled kit provides everything needed to get the motor spinning in a matter of seconds, a market-proven chipset combined with pre-flashed sample software as well as a BLDC motor. Such kits have applications in auxiliary pumps, cooling fans, HVAC blowers, or any other application that uses 3-phase low voltage BLDC motors.

• September, 2022: Cruz, the Spanish rack brand of Cruzber, launched Cruz Pipe Carrier. It is an accessory for transporting pipes safely on the roof of a light commercial vehicle.
• September, 2022: Cruz, the Spanish rack brand of Cruzber, introduced several new products at Automechanika Frankfurt, including CRUZ Stema (bike rack for towbars), Cruz FIX Feet, CRUZ Tailo (multi-functional towbar platform), CRUZ ladder Clamp (ladder fitting system) and Cruz Pipe Carrier.
• March, 2022: Rhino-Rack US LLC launched Reconn-Deck truck bed systems. The systems can be configured according to the customers' needs and tested for City Crash and rough road durability tests. The system also complies with the latest ISO standards.
