The industrial ChatJD will likely roll out through one platform, two areas, and five applications. It is expected to build a human-computer dialogue platform that understands and generates tasks in natural language processing, with parameters estimated to total hundreds of billions.

  • July 2022: Grasim, an Aditya Birla Group company, announced plans to launch a business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platform for the building materials segment with an INR 2,000 crore investment over the next five years. The platform will target micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the building materials sector.
  • April 2022: The Indian government established the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), a domestically developed open-source e-commerce platform. The plan aims to onboard 30 million sellers and 10 million merchants online by August 2022, covering at least 100 cities and towns. Retailers and venture capital firms have supported ONDC. Public and private banks have invested USD 33.26 million in the platform.
  • May 2022: Trendyol, a Turkish e-commerce platform, is expanded into Germany. It is Trendyol's first market outside of Turkey and its entry into Europe. The platform also intends to launch in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and London by the end of the year.
  • May 2022: Inditex, Spain's largest clothing retailer, now charges a flat fee for online returns. This change is being implemented in 30 countries by the owner of Zara, Pull & Bear, and Bershka. It wishes to encourage customers to return items purchased in physical stores.
  • April 2023: PayPal Holdings, Inc announced the addition of its New Features to Its Complete Payments Solution for small businesses. PayPal will also give small businesses access to four new features to help them drive payment acceptance and enhance how they run their business. This will include Apple Pay as a checkout option2, the ability for customers to save payment methods with the PayPal vault for faster future checkout, and a real-time account updater to help customers keep their payment methods up to date.
  • February 2023: Fawry provided FawryPay reference code service to My Fatoorah customers and merchants in the Egyptian market as increasing demand in the Egyptian market among users towards electronic payment solutions and options, where Fatoorah offers a wide range of electronic payment solutions at the regional level, which in turn are expected to enrich the payments market with many advanced services and technologies in terms of digital payment solutions.

  • February 2022 - Chevron Singapore Pte Ltd signed an agreement with PDI, a developer of software solutions for the convenience retail and petroleum wholesale industries, to install cloud-based PDI Point-of-Sale Solutions in many nations in Asia with the Chevron retail network. PDI POS Solutions have supported Chevron's convenience, fuel retail, and food service businesses due to their seamless interaction with its broad retailer network.
  • June 2022: BOC Chill Card, the bank's first environmentally friendly credit card, was officially launched by the Bank of China and Mastercard. The card aims to give young consumers who enjoy entertainment, leisure, and environmentally sustainable consumption a "Chill" lifestyle. Young consumers may avail advantage of various cash incentives and a flexible Pay Later payment solution to fit their spending habits and lifestyles.
  • April 2022: China's central bank digital currency, the Digital Yuan, has been integrated with Tencent's flagship messaging app WeChat and appears as a payment option when users employ the super-app shop.WeChat boasts over 1.2 billion monthly active users, is ubiquitous in China, and is popular outside the Middle Kingdom.
  • January 2022 - Major Chinese E-commerce company JD.com formed a strategic partnership with Ottawa-based Shopify to help global brands tap China’s enormous appetite for imported goods and help Chinese merchants sell overseas. JD.com promises to simplify access and compliance for Chinese brands and merchants looking to reach consumers in Western markets through the partnership.
  • April 2022 - SavMobi Technology, Inc., a Nevada corporation, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dalian Yuanmeng Media Co., Ltd, a company registered under the laws of the People's Republic of China. Under the MOU, Yuanmeng agreed to provide their client base to collaborate with SVMB to explore China's E-commerce market. The income sharing ratio will be fifty-fifty between both companies. The Company is currently operating in the provision of commercial mobile technical support services in China.
  • March 2021- PAX Technology introduced the IM10, the latest unattended payment device that will drive the usage of QR codes and contactless payments in any touchless environment. The IM10 is the newest addition to the IM Series, an all-in-one payment device with a small footprint.
  • May 2021- Gojek and Tokopedia announced their merger to become the GoTo Group, with plans to proceed with an IPO and a dual listing in New York and Jakarta by the end of 2021.
  • August 2023: Knightscope Inc. announced that Crocker Park, a lifestyle center for shopping, dining, playing, and living, deployed a K5 Autonomous Security Robot (“ASR”) at a city within a city spread over 12 blocks in Westlake, Ohio. Thus, Crocker Park has added cutting-edge security enhancements to its well-established safety measures and introduced them to the public to further ensure safety and peace of mind for visitors, residents, and tenants alike.
  • May 2023: Robotnik Automation SL (United Robotics Group Gmbh) developed a new robot for the surveillance and security sector called RB-WATCHER, launched at the Automatica trade fair from June 27 to 30 in Munich (stand A4-312). RB-WATCHER can autonomously perform various surveillance tasks such as patrolling a predetermined area, object and person detection, and fire detection. All this information is processed by the robot and sent in real-time to the control center for decision-making.
  • June 2023: The Minister of International Development and the Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada and B.C. Minister of Municipal Affairs announced a joint investment of more than USD 48.6 million to support multiple wastewater projects in British Columbia. Such investments in the wastewater industry also help to aid the market's growth.
  • February 2023: American Colloid Company announced plans to broaden its current mining activities by 303.7 acres, including 173.7 acres of BLM-managed public land. Over the course of the project, the proposed extension would supply an estimated 435,000 tons of bentonite from public lands. A planned bentonite mining expansion project in Big Horn County, two miles north of Lovell, has been examined by the Bureau of Land Management.
